Before booking a jet ski rental, compare the base rental price with the full total shown during booking. This article replaces an older free-fuel promotion. Fuel is not advertised as free under the current pricing shown here.
Current free-roam jet ski rental prices
At Sunset Jet Ski Rental & Boat Tours, base prices per jet ski are:
- 1 hour: $150
- 2 hours: $250
- 3 hours: $350
- 4 hours: $450

What to check in the full booking total
Fuel charges, taxes and booking fees are additional. Review the itemized total for your selected date, duration and quantity before checkout. Do not assume an old advertisement or quoted base price includes every charge.
If a charge is unclear, contact the team before paying. Your selected booking’s total is the amount to review, rather than multiplying a base price alone.
How guided tour prices differ
Each of our three guided jet ski tours lasts 2 hours and has a base price of $250 per ski with 1 rider or $275 per ski with 2 riders. Guided tour bookings show their applicable additional charges before checkout.
Where to meet and how to prepare
Departure location: Latitude 26 Waterfront Boutique Resort, 17990 San Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931. Park in the hotel lot closest to the dock. Guests staying in Cape Coral travel to this meeting point; these bookings do not depart from a Cape Coral marina.
Renters must be 18 or older; drivers must be at least 14. Under Sunset’s policy, drivers ages 14–17 must be accompanied by an adult on a separate jet ski. Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 need approved boating-safety education proof, a valid temporary certificate or an accepted exemption.
Complete any required Florida temporary boaters test before arrival. Every driver and passenger must complete a waiver before arrival. Bring your qualifying proof and photo ID, and arrive 45 minutes before departure for check-in and safety instruction. Passengers do not need the test solely because they are riding.
