Departure location: Latitude 26 Waterfront Boutique Resort, 17990 San Carlos Blvd, Fort Myers Beach, FL 33931. Park in the hotel lot closest to the dock. Guests staying in Cape Coral travel to this meeting point; these bookings do not depart from a Cape Coral marina.
Free-roam rentals: choose your time on the water
Free-roam jet ski rentals are available for 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours. Base prices per jet ski are:
- 1 hour: $150
- 2 hours: $250
- 3 hours: $350
- 4 hours: $450
- 6 hours: $525
- 8 hours: $600
Upgrade from 1 hour to 2 hours for $100 more. Free roam means riding within the crew’s approved area and your booked time. Follow speed zones, navigation rules and safety instructions; conditions may limit where you can ride.
Three guided tours, each lasting 2 hours
All three cost $250 per jet ski with 1 rider or $275 per jet ski with 2 riders. A minimum of 2 jet skis is required for a tour to operate. Compare the three guided jet ski tours before choosing a departure.
Do not plan a route from an old list of “best spots”
A destination mentioned in an online article is not permission to ride there. Confirm the approved area with the crew and follow their briefing. Routes depend on conditions and the activity booked; do not assume a Cape Coral launch, unrestricted canal access or an island stop is included.
Driver rules and your pre-arrival checklist
Renters must be 18 or older; drivers must be at least 14. Under Sunset’s policy, drivers ages 14–17 must be accompanied by an adult on a separate jet ski. Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 need approved boating-safety education proof, a valid temporary certificate or an accepted exemption.
Complete any required Florida temporary boaters test before arrival. Every driver and passenger must complete a waiver before arrival. Bring your qualifying proof and photo ID, and arrive 45 minutes before departure for check-in and safety instruction. Passengers do not need the test solely because they are riding.
